BCE’s Southern California Team Installs Over 10 Megawatts Of Solar Power
With the holiday season right around the corner, a Fortune 500 retailer in Southern California decided to give the gift of clean energy to its community with the use of solar power generation on its rooftops. This Fortune 500 retailer entrusted SoCore Energy to develop a system that would both benefit the community and reduce their operating costs. SoCore Energy then turned to Barnum and Celillo Electric Inc. to handle all aspects of the installation process. Although the contract was signed in BCE’s Sacramento Corporate Headquarters, the work was performed out of its Tustin office. BCE’s Southern California Team installs over 10 megawatts of solar power spread across 21 retail store roof tops in just over three months. To the onlooker, this installation may have appeared simple; however, acquiring materials, store coordination, utility shutdowns, not to mention securing permits throughout the Southern California region was not a simple task. The good news is that BCE makes even the most difficult projects seem simple! All of the hard work was worth it because this holiday season, and for years to come, this major retailer can take pride in relying on clean and renewable energy that will ultimately reduce their carbon footprint. Thank you to SoCore Energy for allowing BCE to play such a vital role in this adventure!
