Westborough Square Shopping Center

Barnum & Celillo Electric Inc. recently completed the final phase of the Westborough Square shopping center in South San Francisco. Barnum & Celillo Electric Inc. worked closely with S.D. Deacon Corporation of California and Colliers International to design and construct this nearly 9 acre site which was demolished and rebuilt in 2 phases. This redevelopment will accommodate over 92,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and service oriented tenants.

A key component to the construction process was the relocation of the existing tenants to accommodate uninterrupted operations. Phase one of this project required the completion of the tenant improvements so that the existing tenants would be able to relocate prior to phase 2 demolition.

This project relied on the design build experience of Barnum & Celillo Electric Inc.  The coordinated effort of the design build team with local utilities and tenants allowed us to create a more consumer friendly environment while also incorporating energy conservation techniques.

The Westborough Square shopping center can now boast a brand new facility to include ground up buildings and a redeveloped site complete with energy efficient lighting and controls. The entrance to this new center was also realigned which has dramatically improved the traffic flow in the area.

With phase 2 now complete the tenant spaces are well on their way to 100% occupancy.
